Orchestre de l'Opéra National de Paris

Currently violist at the Opéra National de Paris, and professor at the Paris CRR as well as at the PSPBB, Anne-Aurore Anstett also chairs the Franco-European Association of the Viola.

For more than fifteen years she was also part of the Syntonia Quintet, whose concerts and recordings have been widely acclaimed by critics. She is now part of the Hémiones Quartet with her friends and colleagues at the Opera National de Paris.

After brilliant studies in Nancy, and a 1st Prize in violin at the CRR de Paris, she developed an affection for the viola, and quickly entered the CNSM in Gérard Caussé's class. Four years later she obtained a 1st Prize unanimously, and the same year became a full member of the Opéra National de Paris.

In 2004 she was appointed professor at the CRR in Paris to teach the viola, but also orchestral professions in order to prepare students for professional competitions. In 2009, with some passionate violist friends, she brought to life the Association Franco-Européenne de l'Alto; they create the VIOLA'S congress, and record the repertoire and educational pieces in order to meet the demands of the youngest. In 2011 she was appointed professor at the Pôle Supérieur de Paris Boulogne Billancourt.

Curious by nature, she is interested in Art in general, loves to travel, and devotes herself to baking for the pleasure of those close to her!
