Holder of the highest distinctions in the class of Christian Bernard at the CRR de Grenoble, Sandra Chamoux brilliantly joined the Haute Ecole de Musique (HEM) of Geneva in the class of Harry Datyner and in 1992 obtained the first prize for virtuosity.
Winner of the international Viotti and Busoni competitions, she studied with Catherine Collard, Vlado Perlemuter and Yevgeni Malinin.
She plays in many European countries, and also in China, India, the United States ...
An eclectic musician, Sandra Chamoux expresses herself in a wide variety of repertoires as a soloist and in chamber music. She has performed Rachmaninoff's complete works for two pianos and four hands with pianist Florence Cioccolani.
She shared the stage with flautist Michel Moraguès, trumpeter Romain Leleu, violinists Elsa Grether, Sergio Lamberto, Vadim Tchijik, cellists Sonia Wieder-Atherton, Hélène Dautry ...

As a soloist, Sandra Chamoux has been conducted by Jean-Sébastien Béreau, Patrick Souillot, Frédéric Bouaniche ... With the Symphonia Médica orchestra conducted by Nathalie Borgel, she recorded Rachmaninoff's second concerto in concert.
A passionate chamber musician, she was a member of the Athéna trio (1997-2007) in which she performed in many countries and with which she notably recorded the Debussy trio.
Since 2012 she has been a member of the Liberquartet (specializing in the music of Astor Piazzolla) with which she has produced two albums.
Since 2015, with cellist Hélène Dautry, she has performed regularly in France and abroad. In 2017, they recorded both Brahms sonatas for the Lyrinx label, a 4-star record in "Classica".
Passionate about accompanying singing, she has been working since 2016 with baritone Emmanuel Cury. They create the Duo Phidylé and record Duparc's melodies for the Indésens-Calliope label, a disc awarded in September 2020 by a Choc Classica.
Also interested in contemporary creation, she plays works by Jean-Claude Wolff, Sophie Lacaze, Philippe Hersant… she recorded the work of Claire Vazart by creating her piano sonata, a trio and a cycle of melodies dedicated to her .
For the Indésens-Calliope house, a disc devoted to Les Ephémères by Philippe Hersant and the complete Images by Debussy will be released in spring 2021.
She is also a member of the artistic direction committee of Musée en Musique in Grenoble.
Holder of the CA, very invested in teaching, Sandra Chamoux was appointed in 2005 piano teacher at the CRR de Grenoble. At the same time, she is invited to teach at the International Summer Academies of Nancy, the International Winter Academies of Grand Paris, the International Academy of Moulin D'Andé ... She is asked to give Master Classes in Switzerland, Germany, France and recently in India and China.
