Winner of several international violin prizes, including the prestigious N. PAGANINI competitions in Genoa, PI TCHAIKOVSKI in Moscow, R. LIPIZER in Gorizia, First Prize of the Portogruaro International Competition, he is also a Laureate of the NATEXIS Banque Populaire Foundations, G. CZIFFRA , N. and L. Boulanger, O. and V. Ritter and he is named Laureate JUVENTUS by the Council of Europe.

Born in 1975, he began studying violin at the age of six and gave his first concert at age eight. He finished his studies with the mention "Excellent" at the Central Special School of Music of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. Then he perfected himself in France, in Germany, and in the United States.
He studied with Boris BELKIN, Ivry GITLIS, Herman KREBBERS, Eduard SCHMIEDER, Mihaela MARTIN and Irina BOTCHKOVA.

Vadim Tchijik is Professor of violin at CRR Toulouse and gives master classes in Europe, America and Asia. He is also in charge of writing the scores of the great violin repertoire for "Zen-On" editions in Japan.

Founder and director of the Ensemble "The Virtuosos" and director of the Virtuoso Strings Competition of the Heart, he plays a violin by Ferdinando Gagliano made in Naples in 1775.
